"Great pizza. Nice and crispy. Salads are great too. Loved the wedge salad!!! I?m from NY so don?t typically get pizza out of state but this was the closest I?ve had. Also tried the garlic bread, it looked great but lacked flavor. Definitely recommend...Visited multiple times during our visit!"

"CB's was a fantastic experience, it's a restaurant where you get so much more than just food. The ambience and laid back demeanor of the place itself, the music, the artwork, so deliberate in its attitude. If you're a dead-head this will be your favorite spot to visit due to the music and the indie artwork that covers the walls. The pizza hit the spot, crispy and delicious, we went with a thin crust and that's not easy to get right! This restaurant is touted as a local favorite and you could see that when you walked in. This place earned my respect and my appreciation up front. The drinks were cold and the attitude was warm, we felt 100% welcome and invited. Our kids are great judges on vibes and demeanor and they loved it there. Zach is a South Carolina native that brings a much needed hospitality and relaxation to a town that stresses presentation to the affluent, he's the most down to earth business owner I've met in over 20 years of taking trips to Tahoe. Can't wait to come back with my dad, this place was built for him. Also Zach is a TACOMA guy, so that tells you how cool he really is Going to CB's (OVERALL) Picture yourself in a warm atmosphere, Janis Joplin, colorful artwork on the walls, cold drink in your hand enjoying a hot crispy pizza, in an environment where you feel welcome. Picture yourself talking with the nicest and most attentive restaurant owner you've met in quite awhile, for the world acting so crazy he offers a clean, energetic and warm place that calms your nerves. Imagine it not costing you a fortune either, imagine you have a new hidden local joint to hit on your off days. [Disclaimer] I read Lisa's hit piece on this place and LAUGHED, I felt it necessary to go and see, to tell the people what this restaurant is REALLY like for REAL people. Let's BE REAL, this restaurant is RAD and Tahoe needs more places like it. I'm not a millionaire, I don't need views of the lake eating overly expensive bland food, I don't expect to be treated like royalty, but Zach treated us like FAMILY and that is worth so much MORE than a front."

"Greatly hyped locally. I found it just okay, especially for the price. Went on a summer Monday night. Not too long of a wait. Ten minutes or so. Must have caught our server on an off night. She was disinterested and slow to find our table. Food was just okay. Spaghetti Alfredo was very garlicky. I was fine with it, my eight year old, not so much. My calamari steak was chewy to the point that I wondered if it had been reheated. Also, they took a carrot and quartered it and called it a side. The lasagna was nice. Could have done without the server slopping it out of its serving dish and onto the plate. Made it feel like a plate of $25 leftovers. For the price, a little presentation goes a long way. As long as you are eating somewhere before 9pm. there are several options. This would be somewhere in the middle of the pack on my next visit. Maybe early bird special time is better. Less disinterested staff, less possibility of calamari steak reheats. Sorry for the lack of photos, I was so disappointed by now I just wanted to eat it and get dessert elsewhere."
