"I have to admit, this was not our first choice for dinner but I'm so glad the other restaurant was full! Otherwise we never would have discovered this little gem during our brief visit to Gettysburg. After a full day of travel, we arrived at the GO well into the dinner rush. Given the restaurant looked relatively small from the outside, I expected to have to wait for a table. the dining room was nice. scotch eier were so delicious, had mush and poutin. our server was very polite. we had 1 hour on the meter and just got out in time.

eating was so hot and fresh. the Irish must have sodabrot, could itself be a meal. my man said the Caesar salad was the best he had. we sat at the bar and could order from the entire menu. anne was super attentive and friendly. our water was constantly filled, which was great on a hot, long day. even the pommes were great and I am not typical of a pommes. the 10 oz fish is much bigger than it sounds!

I cannot put into words how satisfied I am with Garyowen's Irish Pub. My son, daughter-in-law, wife, and I decided to visit this restaurant on December 28th, 2016. It was a random choice, but we have no regrets - it was a gem. We plan to make this an annual visit. Give it a try and you'll hit the jackpot. Our server, Derrick, made our experience so enjoyable that we will never forget it. The food was outstanding, even coming from someone who lives in an area with great dining options. I told my family that I will always remember Garyowen's Irish Pub, even on my deathbed. I am grateful to have had the opportunity to visit this wonderful place.KEN
