"A bit surprised by the positive reviews. The underwhelming dining area notwithstanding, the food itself could use improvement. Haldi purports to specialize in Southern Indian cuisine, but most of their dishes are overly hot (spicy) and too sweet. I realize that this is a characteristic of Southern Indian/Hyderabadi cuisine, but the balance of chiles and sugar was way, way off on every dish we had. We may give them one more chance just to try their biryani, which should be a signature dish, but will otherwise be returning to our favorites (1st) House of India and (distant 2nd) Royal Taj."

The place is gorgeous. The food is excellent. The plating and presentation, just wow. And service is amazing!

Our new favorite takeout! Ordered for lunch and loved it so much we ordered again for dinner. Highly recommend the Gobi Manchuria and Goat Biryani (on the weekends)! Get a Mango Lassi, too. Can't wait to dine in.
