"Hellbender Bed and Beverage is a unique spot to stay and eat in Blowing Rock, with a fabulous location to the cute downtown area; everything is walkable from Hellbender We stayed there for two nights and got breakfast and drinks. Their drinks are INCREDIBLE! They offer a really nice cocktail list with some creative drinks that are flavorful and strong--and reasonably priced at $12-14. The bartender also will make you whatever you want, and she was great about asking whether I wanted my Cosmo on the sweeter side or tart side, and made sure to ask us what our preferred alcohol brand was. Ate breakfast biscuits here and they were fresh to order, hot, and delicious! We gotthe chicken egg and cheese. Will have to look at staying here too!

Stopped in today with a friend and was immediately seated. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, especially the newbie (her second day). We ordered the special, a burger, one side, and one beer or glass of wine. The burger was good (needed something to pop the flavor though), fries were hot and delicious, and the recommended beer was perfect. We will definitely come back!Noteworthy details: Staff was great!

We tried Hellbender for the first time and can't wait to go back. The food and serve was fantastic. I was glad to see they didn't have those uncomfortable blue chairs. It reminded us of the cozy pubs we stopped at road tripping on Scotland.The mac and cheese and salad were delicious. Our kids loved the burgers and my husband was really happy with the chicken sandwich. FYI, the mains don't come with sides so we went with it and got a few to share.The whole place was really clean too.
