"we sat here on a Sunday on the outskirts and enjoyed it around us. the delicious rhabarber and a delicious cappucino. price performance and the service was nice and fast despite the fullness. the cake offer is good there is an ice cream card as well as breakfast and snacks."

"There is always something magical about the first night's meal in Europe. The warm feeling of the thick walls, the first sip of a local beer and the disorientation of the jet lag all combine to remind you that you are out of place and time in a good way. This was made all the better by our welcome at the restaurant at the Hotel Linde and by the quality of its food. My husband prefers to speak German when in Germany, but the waiter was more than fluent in English to answer my questions. My husband's Weiner schnitzel was light and crispy and very tender. And as I came to learn after trying maultaschen all over the region in the next few days, this was the finest maultaschen I have ever eaten. It was one big one made with a paper thin pasta covering wrapped around the generous meat pie in the center and covered in gravy but not drowning in it. We would return because the food is so typical of the region and the service welcoming."
