"Unfortunately al Hiltl restaurants in Zurich are vegetarian restaurant. Not friendly for those with celiac decease. The personnel is not aware of celiac or gluten free and almost all dishes are contaminated with gluten. I spent time trying to figure out if anything was really safe but they have no awareness, no separate kitchen, no protocol in place. In the buffe people mix spoons between the dishes nothing is labeled with ingredients. In my experience in Zurich avoid all vegan vegetarian restaurants, these are the most dangerous."

Das Hiltl in der Mythenquai Badi war letzten Freitag etwas enttäuschend, recht leere Schüsseln, obwohl (oder weil?? Der Wetterbericht war doch klar.. ...

I was in the Hiltl House à la carte restaurant. The menu lists all allergenes, and there are many gf options, even some unexpexcted ones such as gnocchi and cheescake. Because of the latter, I wrote an email beforehand to check in whether the list of allergenes are indeed correct. They answered immediately, and confirmed that all these dishes are gf. The cheescake is made in the same oven, so maybe ask about risks of crosscontact when ordering. But I would def recommend the place.
