"After reading some of the reviews for Hurricane I didn 't even wanna come by. I just moved back to Florida after being gone for 12 years. One of my friends is like lets go find a place on the water to eat so we can watch the sea planes go by. We wound up at the Hurricane instead. I 'm like I don 't know. The reviews on this place were sketchy. Kinda hit or miss. So she talked me into trying it as she hadn 't tried it either. Just goes to show you don 't trust any review go and find out for yourself. Good place to eat, lots of space for big parties. Great service, we had a large group and all orders were correct and drinks were always full. Great atmosphere right next to the water. The food was fresh and hot. Thanks for a good time.

They were very busy and backed up but staff was exceptionally attentive to us while we waited for our table. Strawberry daiquiri Pina colada were very good. We ordered lunch which included, Mahi mahi, chicken nachos, macdaddy burger, maple bacon burger wings. Everything was excellent. Portions, flavor staff!!! Nice tiki bar and table area viewing the water dock area.

We visited this restaurant on Thursday night. It had customers, but it wasn't crowded. We immediately sat on the terrace where our waiting staff arrived and took our drinks order. I'd say the tap selection could be bigger, but maybe the locals don't come for it. I went with the staff recommendation and started with the smoked wahoo Dip, which was delicious. A touch on the salty side, but it was well dipped with freshly chopped onions, tomatoes and jalapeno, which adds the salt.
