"Since I came to New York, I have visited this restaurant because one of my teachers brought me here, and I enjoyed it. However, today an unexpected situation arose involving the waitress. Feels like I'm dining in Tokyo at Izakaya Fuku. Retro decor and chill vibe.Everything we ordered was good too especially creamy mentai udon with bacon. Pretty affordable too.Service was great and worker is friendly.Cash only.Coming back for sure!

Izakaya Fuku is this cute Japanese restaurant run by Thai folks that totally gave me Osaka vibes. They only take cash, just so you know.I ordered the seared salmon – it was fairly big and tasty. Also had their kaarage chicken – so soft and perfectly fried. If I’m around Jackson Heights, I’ll definitely drop by again.

Creative and funky spot with a welcoming staff for any time eats but especially late night eats and drinks.They offer some sashimi, chirashi bowls and hand roll options but really come for the hot Japanese eats like fried squid tentacles, takoyaki, ramen, cod roe udon dishes, kaki fried oysters and such. Ooh they did serve my fave ankimo (monkfish liver aka foie gras of the sea) and that was super fresh and delicious!!!
