"This review is from my 9 yr old granddaughter Ashlynn, which is extremely from where and what she eats... I had garlic knots for my appetizer and then had pesto, oil and bread and had a cheese pizza and it was amazing. I thought I would die, I loved it so much and I even wanted to leave my money for the school for a tip, but my Mimi refused and the waitress was very good for us and she talked to me. I told her how much I enjoyed it, even if I thought I wouldn't like it. So, kids try it before you like it because you might like it. That was my day to try new things that thank you love, Ashlynnn Tarlton"

"This is my favorite place to eat!! I moved to Clt and still make my visits to Albemarle to visit family and Thai spices. Although Lucky Tusk is owned by the same owner, its service cannot compare with Thai Spice. Usually there is no waiting time for Thai spices, you do not have to wait for your waitress to serve you from their phones! The service is always fast and the servers are always polite."

"It was super busy, so we ate at the bar, and the bartenders were great. The fried pickles appetizer will feed 10 easily! I had shrimp tacos and the stone ground grits. The tacos were okay. The grits were AMAZING! My husband had pork chops, dirty rice, and collard greens. The dirty rice was horrible. It was so overseasoned my mouth felt coated. It was not edible, and neither were the greens. They were so spicy, it was overwhelming. The pork chops were pretty spicy, too, but edible. Somebody was feeling the cayenne pepper, but it wasn't us. Absolutely awful."

"Update Nov 2021. My new favorite lunch: Casadia Delight. It comes with a delicious grilled chicken and a salad or side. Its priced right too.. My standing Favorite: The Speedy. The choice of Chicken or beef filling and its pretty good. This lunch special includes 1 enchilada, 1 taco and 1 side (see pic). I like it with black beans. Others sides include Mexican Rice, Refried beans,.... Of course Taco Tuesday Rocks! (See pic). COVID UPDATE (IN CAPS) This is the best Mexican food in town. Lunch is REASONABLEY PRICED IF YOU STICK WITH THE LUNCH SPECIALS. IT 'S good. Good portions too. The service is always super good, always! Dont forget Taco Tuesday. My favorite thing is NOW THE STREET TACOS. SADLY, NO MORE taco fixings bar because of COVID. Still, the salsa and chips keep coming. I highly recommend the pico de galo. Their chimis are great. Ok my other favorite is tortilla soup. Unfortunately I dont recommend the taco salad. It 's not the best. Everything else is fantastic. No alcohol on premises."
