"Food is good, omelettes are wonderful! 2 things I criticize is the help. The two waitresses that have been there forever can be a little bit more friendly. The dark haired one seems miserable every time I go. Last week I was there with a girlfriend and she was so sick, coughing, she should have been sent home. Also the younger girl, think the owners daughter was picking her nose. Little disgusting to say the least especially when you’re dealing with food. Seems there was a newer woman there, was very talkative and seemed pleasant to her customers."

Stopped going to JB's by ShopRite. The food was mediocre and the waitresses didn't seem to care about their customers. I now go to Sandy's Cozy Corner. Food is great and the staff are very welcoming.

Take a fun little trip back in time to the 1950s!! This diner has everything you could ever want for breakfast and lunch. My grandmother and I both had their Taylor ham egg and cheese sandwiches and they were delicious. If you’re a diner in NJ ya gotta do that right and they did! Great service and lovely, friendly people.

JB's is fantastic! This is my favorite classic diner in the Toms River area. Delicious food, fast friendly service, awesome decor, and generous portions, so come hungry. Also, easy parking. My meatlovers omelet was excellent, and the Nutella pancakes were perfect. Great coffee that they keep refilling, too! Parking: JB's is part of a collection of shops between a Shoprite and a Lowe's so there is lots of free parking.

"I had an incredibly disappointing experience at this restaurant. The service was unfriendly and the food I received was cold and lacked flavor. This is actually the first negative review I've written in my 42 years. Unfortunately, I can't say anything positive about this place. I waited 45 minutes for takeout and ended up leaving without two items from my order. I really think this place should reconsider its operations."

"I and my friend ordered a lunch, and they tried to take our lunch twice and said that we didn't order it as if we stole it, we showed the reception, and then they came back again that they wanted to take our lunch, and after much greedy said just apologise, everyone thought we were the ones."

"Here is the best Italian food in Lakehurst, hands down. We regular get take out meals and of course their pizzas which we always order well done to get that great crispy and bubbly crust. This is however (IMHO) not a place to dine. It has little atmosphere, lousy drinks and the only good thing about the dine-in experience is they cut a Sicilian slice in 4 fingers and serve it to the table. The drinks are over poured: I ordered a Cosmo and could not drink it for it being too strong. Bartender said the locals love them, I replied, NO they drink them to get FACED. i told her to get me a beer instead. So stay home, do delivery and I recommend the veal picata, very well done. WARNING: you must ask for capers, they won't put them in if you don't ask. Never heard of that, capers make this dish."

"The Perigees at this restaurant were once again exceptional. The portion size was very generous and could easily be a meal on its own. It was served with plenty of perfectly cooked onions. I was also impressed with the French fries, which arrived crispy - a rare find when ordering from Door Dash. The chicken sandwich I ordered for my grandson was a hit - he devoured it and said it was excellent. This restaurant consistently delivers top-notch food that is perfectly prepared, with generous portions that justify the cost."
