"Came in to check this place out. Cute country quaint establishment. Staff was very pleasant and nice. Was seated immediately. Ordered the deep fried mushrooms and pickles to start. We also ordered the steakhouse filet, ribeye both with fries. House salad came out before the appetizers, which was just lettuce, tomato and a slice of onion with surprisingly shoe string potatoes on top. Salad dressing was at the bottom but when mixed all together, tasted pretty good. The appetizers came next which were good. The rolls they provide were a bit dry but had a garlic and herb on the top. When sliced and buttered, they were ok, still a bit dry. Now on to the steaks. The filet was ordered as a medium came out well done. We sent it back. The ribeye was ordered medium well and came out as such. The filet we sent back took a long time to come back out. I was done with my entire ribeye by the time my wife got her filet. This is the main reason for the loss of a star. I overheard another table whose steak didn 't come out correctly. This seems to be a common thing as the waitress comped our iced tea for the screw up and long time for the replacement steak. When we went to pay, the ladies at the register says they screwed up again when they saw the comped drinks. Overall the meal cost 80+ dollars for two. You would expect paying that much not to be any screw-ups. But the staff is what saves this place from any fewer stars. A comped iced tea doesn 't really cover the cost of waiting an additional 15 minutes for a steak they screwed up. Overall, the steaks had good flavor once they were done right. We would rate this place as a 50/50 whether or not we come back."

"My sister drove from Florida and we had both limited time. She lived with other families in Hiram and we live in Rome. That's why we chose this place as a half point to meet and spend some time together. Absolutely fantastic! Beautiful little gem of a BBQ joint, located below a side street in Rockmart. A real additional bonus that it is only the road from a picturesque small park, part of the Silver Comet Trail system, complete with gentle winding, with light cement walking paths to an obvious favorite location swimming hole and nature reserve Wildlife. We enjoyed visiting this area after dinner. But back to this location The food was excellent! The meat cooked and seasoned Just as you expect and earn in a large bbq place! The frits were beautiful and the onion rings were exactly as I love them! Thick cut vidalia most likely, fried to absolute perfection! We tried the peach cop. It was quite delicious, but we would rather have served it warm, under a thick doll of its delicious vanilla ice cream. However, they would probably have been happy to oblige us if we had asked it, because the employees were all very pleasant and personal! I love art and so I will always review the art and decor of a place. So many interesting things on the walls inside and outside, but my absolute fav was the carousel horse hanging on the ceiling! They have indoor seating, but the outdoor seating area is so beautiful that we decided to sit there instead. It was a real plus on this pretty warm 80s day! I'd say the only drawback was the unisex toilet. Please don't get me wrong. I'm for unisex facilities, it was just that it was busy this day and with 2 toilets would definitely help. However, I sometimes understand that the room is limited and you work with what you have. Besides this one tiny question, everything was absolutely divine. We also met two dogs of passengers while we eat outside under the pavilion area! Since we are dog-sitter and all dogs love, this was an additional bonus for sure! "We order from here more than occasionally and usually receive our order within 30-45 minutes. I was given an estimate of 45 minutes to an hour, which was understandable on a Friday. At the hour mark, I did receive a call from the driver that my order was delayed. Qt the hour and a half mark, I called to question where my order was. I was told that a lot of orders came in at once and that caused my delay. Be that as it may, I worked in this industry in my younger years and that's not an excuse. First orders in, first orders out. I am hoping that we get more options of delivery for our area as Hometown is currently 1 of 2 that actually deliver to our location."

"Stopped in El Nopal yesterday when our intended destination turned out to be closed. Very glad that we did. Our waiter was very friendly and attentive, and the food was excellent. I had the street tacos (one chicken, one beef) which are served in soft corn tortillas with onions, cilantro, and tasty, smoky salsa. The other notable dish at our table was a large bowl of chicken soup which had what looked like an entire chicken breast in it. We were very pleased and would definitely eat here again."

"I highly recommend Waffle House for their consistently great service. The staff at this particular location is very skilled and all of my visits have been enjoyable. I would suggest trying the chicken and eggs dish – the grilled chicken from Waffle House is a must-try!"
