"In July 2024, I returned to town for another event and decided to have lunch at this restaurant. There have been no changes since my last visit last year, and probably none since it opened in the 1980s. The burgers and fries are still great. We ordered the 1/3 burger with cheese and added our own toppings. The restaurant is popular with state law enforcement; two DPS troopers and 4 Texas Rangers were having lunch during our visit. The Philly cheese steak was delicious and the grandkids loved their burgers and milkshakes. The service was fast and friendly, the atmosphere was cozy, and the prices were reasonable. Overall, it was a pleasant dinner for everyone.

This restaurant is great for families and serves delicious traditional American food. The atmosphere is reminiscent of classic burger joints from the Midwest. The staff is very friendly. As someone from the Midwest, it feels like a taste of home. I highly recommend it!
