I ordered it rare plus and it came out tough like leather. I sent it back and got another one cooked medium, but it still tasted terrible and had the texture of leather. The chicken was also awful - they claimed it was southern fried but it tasted more like a rotisserie chicken with breading. Even their pimento cheese, which is usually hard to mess up, was a disappointment. It had no flavor and you could tell they used cheap ingredients. I don’t even know where to begin. I rarely experience such perfection! The space, the staff, the food, the ambiance, the drinks, EVERYTHING was absolutely PERFECT!! Thank you, Knox Mason, for giving my husband and I the most perfect date night! We will be back FREQUENTLY!

The restaurant experience was wonderful. Following our meal, we ventured upstairs to the rooftop for more drinks. The rooftop setting was lovely, but I would recommend sticking to wine or beer upstairs, as the mixed drinks were surprisingly weak. Even my 80-year-old mother, who only has a few drinks a year, had to request more vodka in her vodka tonic.
