"I'm from NY and was in town for the week. This place was recommended by a friend who lives in Miami and I must say that we were very disappointed. No one came to serve us and when I asked a random server, he said “I will do it” then I had to ask for the specials. You forgot to bring my drink. We ordered a fillet mignon with Gorgonzola sauce that had zero taste. We wanted sauce. Either Marsala or Bernaise and he's taking balsam glaze. I thought it was a joke. The potatoes on the side were basically fried like French fries and had no taste. We also had a Caesar salad that was moderate. The flat bread was decent. The frut d mar was okay. Service was worse than terrible. We have dined here in the past and was shocked at how run down the restaurant has become. Very disappointed to say the least!

Four of us sat on the outdoor terrace of La Locanada next to the street. When Canadians visited South Beach in March, we were happy to sit outside and the noise of passing cars was minimal. The food was absolutely excellent! Everyone enjoyed their meals thoroughly and I personally had the best chicken parm I ever tasted. My only regret is that I could finish the big part. Recommend this restaurant when you are in South Beach.
