"Fastest service round, BEST and most authentic Mexican cuisine in Maine. I was always in and outside my 30-minute lunch break near every day, everyone who says something else had a very rare experience. You just have to ask for the hot sauce they make themselves!!! It is the absolute best and it is so fresh. It is not better than this jewel, everyone who says that food is not good, is used Taco Bell and Margaritas that are not even CLOSE to genuine Mexican foods. You have some extra parking when you go to the Bank of America parking, it is a little hidden, but not frustrated trying to park on the street. I can't support this place enough."

"Love the food at Bamboo Bistro, but the customer service is going downhill! Maybe it 's just a learning curve for the new waitress?! I have been left on hold for 10+ min one day- I completely understand that things get busy, but I am not sure that was the reason.. The second example, my family went in to eat and we were left sitting at our table for an additional 20 after we finished eating- and the table was cleared, waiting to get the check. We were one of two tables in the place- so again being busy wasn 't the reason this happened. The last chance was earlier this week I ordered lunch to go and part of it was left out of the bag... and no utensils. I will give it a month and try them again, because the food it really good. Welp I waited 4 weeks and went there for lunch, their service was outstanding, and their food was exactly the same- great! Please Bamboo Bistro stay this way!"

"Wow! We had a vanilla latte and a caramel latte... Some of the best lattes we've ever had! We had a slight mixup where our lattes came out next to a wrap that looked like what i had ordered, so we grabbed it but then later realized it was another customer's . Staff was super understanding and it ended up being the tastiest breakfast that I've had in weeks. Not sure exactly what the menu item was that ate, but it was extremely filling. Cafe had a great vibe, plenty of seating, not too crowded or packed. We wish we would've discovered this place earlier during our trip to Maine, but now we know for next time to skip Starbucks/Dunkin and come to Roots Cafe."

"First time eating food from here and overall the taste of the food was ok. The problem I had was that I just kept biting crab shells (crab fried rice) that the only problem that I had with the food. I wasn’t able to finish it because I didn’t want to damage my teeth. I ordered a side was chicken wings that were ok as well. 3/5 Service: Take out Meal type: Dinner"

"When we arrived there was one elderly make sitting by himself in Veterans Day...we paid for his meal thanked him for his service! Shortly after another table (2people) paid for someone else (possibly another older male who came in). Our waitress then took money off our bill even though we forgot to give her our diner around card and said she was going to pay for the next veteran that came in! Good food, great service, worth the trip!"
