"We just had dinner at Lemon... and it was excellent. The last time we ate there was before the pandemic, and the only thing we regret is waiting so long to go there again. Foremost is the food. The menu has a wide range of very creative dishes. Not only is there a high degree of culinary skill, but the quality of the ingredients is top shelf. As one who has very sensitive taste buds, this is food without compromise. The wait staff is friendly and accomodating, not too much and not too little attention. The owner makes his rounds, is gracious, and truly happy to see you. The ambiance is fine, not going to win an award, but comfortable. Overall, you need to visit this restaurant. Hands down o...

Got a door dash order because I really enjoyed the food when my husband brought me a few wks ago sadly I was very disappointed! Food arrived cold no utensils no napkins lemon potatoes were hard undercooked the pistachio salad was wilted super soggy drenched in dressing looked like they just threw it together didn't care very disappointed

We love this resturant. The chef is absolutely wonderful. Every thing we have ordered has been fresh and creative. We have been several times for both lunch and dinner. I especially love the lamb dishes and the hanger steak. The salads are delicious as well. The staff is friendly and attentive. Can not recommend Lemon Mediterranean Resturant on route 9 in Freehold enough!

"I also enjoyed the plant-based 360 burger, just make sure to order it without the non-vegan sauce (like mayo) to keep it vegan. It’s delicious and is served with sweet potato fries and maple syrup, which makes for a fantastic combination. The falafel is excellent too; they simply don't add egg in the recipe, so it's vegan-friendly. However, this is based on my own experience, so double-check when you order. The owner is knowledgeable about vegan diets and supportive of them. The bakery often experiments with vegan options, and recently they had vegan jodlers, which were quite good. The atmosphere is fantastic—a really cool café as you can see from the photos. They also offer a hookah on request with different flavors when you sit outside. There's a gender-neutral restroom, which is great. The surrounding area is also pleasant for a stroll! Freehold Boro is historic and provides a charming backdrop for a lovely evening, especially on warm summer nights."

"The service was excellent but wish I could say the food was better. The arugula salad was very good! We ordered the lasagna and bronzino. The fish and spinach was good but the fish with sauce was cold. Even the sauce was coagulated from sitting. I wrapped it to go. The lasagna was cold and tasteless. Had much better elsewhere. "Visited this place while in town this past weekend because of Dave Portnoy's One Bite App. Was suppose to eat inside but my wife got delayed and I had to get takeout for us to eat later. I said what the heck I'll have a drink and sit at the bar and order my takeout and get a feel for the place. Wow, what an operation they run. Several different eating areas, a seperate takeout window and a bar with tables in it with the ballgame on. All employees firing on all cylinders was a joy to watch while I enjoyed my Crown Royal at the bar. As for the food the pizza was the best I have ever had in New Jersey and my wife had Chicken Alfredo and I had the Special Lasagna. Both delish and fresh bread. Thank you, can't wait to come back and sit inside. F Y I check parking here before you go, certain times free certain times you have to feed the meter. Well worth it though. I believe this place offers curbside takeout as well but I'm not sure Also cash only establishment."
