"The food is usually exceptional; however, today it was below average (I gave the food 3 Stars only due to the catfish was great). The fried chicken looked good but it had a burned flavor on two of the three meals (the other was catfish) and it wasn’t seasoned as it used to be. We’ve always thought their fried chicken was one of the best, but if this had been our first visit, I’m not sure we would go back again. The Mac and cheese wasn’t good, the dressing was gritty and the mash potatoes didn’t have any flavor. Such a great place to eat. The staff is phenomenal... Happy, talkative, makes you feel warm and welcome. The portions are big, and everything I've tried is top notch.
