"I stumbled onto Louis Deli by sheer fate. Talk about Mom’s cooking. These women get down in that kitchen. The Breakfast fajita and egg tacos with green salsa are fantabulous!!!! Is that a word? Got me speaking in tongues!!! The burgers are made with some sort of Magic bread! The fries make you wanna do the moonwalk! No doubt this place is Downtown’s hidden gem. Food is fast and amazing. Guy Fieri from Diners, Drive-Ins and dives will be hearing about this place. Try them out. The food is made with LOVE!!!! And yes they deliver, if you are close. Screw UBA-eats!!! Their delivery fee unbeatable. 10 STARS!!!"

"Lucio’s is a Houston treasure. Particularly if you’re an oenophile (or, like me, just a cork dork), they have a limited but excellent selection of wines on their list and a modest corkage fee if you want to enjoy that bottle (those bottles) you’ve been laying down for years. But it’s mainly about the food and the service. The chef and main server (husband and wife) consistently deliver. "The staff are very friendly, the host when you first arrive was friendly and accommodating. I arrived quite early for my reservation and she was able to confirm our spot. The male waiters were very friendly. I found our waitress to be fine and seemed to rush through our service. Overall I would definitely recommend this spot. The flavors in the food you could taste, presentation was great. The high table wasn't functional for us to have lunch, we would have preferred a different table. It was tough to eat at."

"So we did guys night out last night and we had an awesome time! Our waiter did a great job and we loved the food!! I ordered the Ponchatrain dish and the Bananas foster for dessert. The dessert was so good I wanted to bribe the waiter for the recipe. Yes it was that good!! I’ve been here a few times before and it was impeccable service every single time. Hands down one of my favorite restaurants in all of Houston!!! Highly recommend!!!!!"

"I made a last minute solo reservation and am so glad I did!! My seat was up at the bar near the kitchen so I could see all the action. The servers were so friendly and helpful in answering questions. Definitely get the ham appetizer and the bread— the best I’ve had in ages. The cresta pasta entree was so good and vegetarian, though it tasted like roasted chicken!!!"
