"Party of three. We ordered the Diablo shrimp, enchiladas suizas, and the special dinner. Sauce on shrimp tasted like chef boyardee spaghetti. It was vile. The chicken in the enchiladas was very tough, and the third meal didn’t make it to the table until we asked for our waiter and he seemed surprised that we didn’t have all the food. Once it finally arrived, it was a disgusting unrecognizable mess. Waiter seemed put out when we requested more chips and salsa. Overall weird experience. $60.00 worth of VERY bad “food.”"

"Harpers is so great! Like driving over the state! I and my friends always make a trip. It's not so much to see. And you can think you are lost a few times, try to get there, BUT it is SO WORTH IT! People are nice and you can't get cats this delicious anywhere else! They only have their own way of doing things and it works. The unlimited catfish is worth it, but they bring so much I never finish the first record. It is a great experience and you should definitely visit a trip."

"The dead flies in the window seal had nothing on the world's saddest plate of nachos. It's like they took taco salad and put it on a pile of chips instead of in a bowl. I got a package of taco sauce and a package of sour cream... Not a bowl or side.. a package.. I was extremely disappointed as even the fried food was underwhelming... I mean how do you make soggy fries in a deep fryer? By not cooking them fully or having cold greese....The wings were delicious and their cocktails are on point .. if you like vodka pineapple juice and orange juice... The server was very polite and we didn't have to wait long at all to get our order... It was just some sad bar food for sure"

"We enjoyed the fried catfish, which was truly delicious and served in generous portions. The staff was exceptionally friendly, making our experience even better. It was definitely worth the 80-minute drive to reach this place. For our lunch, we found the prices to be very reasonable, ranging from $10 to $20 per person. I would rate the food, service, and atmosphere all as a perfect 5 out of 5. I highly recommend trying the catfish!"

"Stopped on a whim with my wife ordered shoulder plate with beans and potato salad. Wife ordered pulled pork sandwich plate with Mac and cheese. The texture on the shoulder was different from other bbq stands in the region with a thicker cut and it fell apart, the smoke level was right, and I enjoyed it. Ordered the hot sauce and it was tasty but lacking in heat. My wife said the mild sauce was very good and the pulled pork was on par with what we get locally. All in all the food was good. Except they need 2 start seasoning there sides. It was stated that they intentionally don’t salt or pepper the sides because of some people’s diet restrictions but salting at the table only goes so far and is no substitute for seasoning while preparing/ cooking. The shoulder was in dire need of a rub or anything. This is not a complaint the food was still very well prepared. This should be taken as constructive criticism. Please if the owners read this SALT!!!! Is day one stuff. Everything needs salt. That being said we will return. The pizza looks great with good prices and keto options. And the pork rind nachos are in my future. I’ve had there from scratch pork rinds be4 and there excellent. I hope they do well and become a part of the community as a well established business."
