"Originally rated this a 5 stars but these past couple of months have been unpleasant. The people behind the counter don't know anything about the product they're selling, (they told me I was buying a cranberry pecan muffin but it turned out to be chocolate chip), they run out of product way too fast, and I've been questioning how fresh the product is as well (stuff has been super dry and not so tasty). I'm not sure if it is because they're short staffed but someone needs to step up and get things running better."

"The customer service was absolutely Awful. After we called our orders in, we waited another hour and 15 minutes, only to leave empty handed and disgusted. This establishment will NEVER have me, or anyone I know, as a customer again....EVER.The man who claimed to be the owner, was beyond rude."

"I had read about the sweet tea honey fried chicken. It sounded great, this would be the under statement of the year. This was the most tender, greatest chicken I've ever had in my life! The mashed potatoes and green beans were perfectly cooked and as yummy as can be. Considering I had two drinks an appitser and two entrees it was only about $60. So for a restaurant that is prominently featured in a television series to be this reasonably priced was outstanding! We had the best server I've had in a long time. I'll definitely dine here again before I leave town."

"This place has truly become a typical tourist trap. As a local we still want the food and service to be good. The manager on duty is very curt with black people but very friendly to other patrons and she is black herself! She is very short with us anytime we have been there during her shift. It never fails, she does it EVERY time we have tried to support their business. The salad I was given had grilled chicken that was dry as a desert and when I had them take the chicken back, I was left with a whole lot of iceberg lettuce and three tomatoes, a few cubes of cucumber and that was it. Not a colorful salad at all and very unsatisfying. I had to go home and eat after spending $16!!! on a way below standard salad. I am glad I didn't bother with a drink. Our waitress was as gracious as she could be, but the experience was not like 2 years ago when we first arrived to Covington. We would frequent this place often because they even had a pretty good few vegan options for my hubby. A delicious BBQ jackfruit sandwich that was pleasantly flavorful and a few other items that are no longer in the menu. The old menu was better and service was fine as long as the black manager is not there sad to say. Now it's like eating in the city center of France. They just take your money, serve a mediocre meal and run because they assume everyone is just a tourist passing through. All of these positive reviews must be the high from being near the Vampire Diaries sights because the food is not that great anymore, my daughter was so disappointed with her usual favorite dish, the Mac and cheese with fried chicken...just a whole disappointing experience. We might not be able to go back, City Pharmacy or the Social Goat are a better bet. I think we will stick to that."

"Atmosphere was great food was outstanding when I dined there before. My sister and I were taking my mom there for an early Mother's Day meal. We arrived just before 2 PM on Saturday and was informed that the kitchen was closing and they will not be serving food until 4 PM. On their website it mentions nothing about this I was very disappointed and so was my mom. When a restaurant says they are no longer serving food at 2 PM and turns you away, doubt I will go back."
