"For high-quality food, an excellent selection of international wines and value ratio, we think that Meritage is the best restaurant in Highlands .. and so do many other locals. It is supervised by an experienced professional, Andrea Schmitt, who knows how to plan reservations, hire large employees and monitor the preparation and presentation of the fantastic and constantly changing menu of their talented cook. There is a small dining room with about 8 tables and a large bar area near the entrance. The decor is incomparable and elegant and the service staff is understandable, friendly and professional. Reservations highly recommended."

What a lovely and enjoyable experience! When you want your brunch to be something special, this is the place to go! The staff and food were equally pleasing!

The trout was excellent, but when I ordered an old fashion, it came out to look like a dirty orange juice. When I tried to explain to the bartender instead of being polite about it, they were quite rude and I thought I would order a simple beam and ginger. To my surprise, it was $14 a glass for the old fashions that made very wrong. In any case, other restaurants in this area would recommend. This bistro is not good for customer service.
