"Disappointed. They served my tonkatsu first and I waited 5 mins, still not bringing my fd?s sushi order. The pork and rice were getting cold, therefore, I started eating and hopefully the sushi coming in any second. it is so awkward for my friend looking at me eating while he was so hungry. It end up 20 mins later, I asked about the sushi order, they said they are so busy and they were making. Under normal etiquette rules, this is incredibly rude and ignorant for meals to be served at different times. The pork is a bit over fried. The rice bowl is cracked, it almost hurt my finger. So disappointed. The sushi was fresh and good. I don?t think I will go back again unless I order same thing as...

Just ordered a roll and Tonkatsu and it's really unbelievable that they could serve this low quality food. The Tonkatsu is almost black it's so overcooked and the pork looks old. Really disappointing. The roll is good. My advice to anyone is stick with the sushi. The reality of this dish vs what they advertise is really off. How can they send this out after charging $17.50 for this dish.

server here is so nice and attentive! the food is excellent! I can see the chef is very educated in what he does. all the menu here was executed so well. if it's a fried item, it came out really crispy, if the sauce is supposed to be tangy, it was tangy and well balanced. interior is very modern and minimal. plenty of parking around the neighborhood. I was sad to find out they did not serve alcohol, but on the bright side there is a liqour store literally right across the restaurant where you can purchase one and bring to the restaurant to consume. everything was perfect, willing to drive from Manhattan again!

"this was the second time that we at blue hill at stone barns had eaten (the first was about a year ago) our second visit was not so funny, because we first knew that the routine was brought out a dish in a time, an excursion to somewhere else (kitchen, special room with compost part away through the meal. but also, it was disappointing to see some of the same things on the menu as we did last time. yes, it was the almost the same time of the year, but surely a restaurant of this caliber can be more creative and sometimes they were something too creatiw at this visit. we were served a melon that had been fermented. with the first (and last bite, I said to my man, that tastes just like cow manure smell. Now, when we were picked into the compost room for our half of a baby potato, we saw where the fermentation had taken place: in a bag placed in the compost container. ew, that explains, I thought. I also know that you eat seasonal at stone barns, but the menu was very, very hard on beds, squash and parsnips. while the peasant from this world was (please sell to the public in quantity! and the beet sliders were so big that we could have eaten ten more, it was a bit much to have so many sweet sweet sweet sweet at a meeting, especially if you lean on the savory like me. While I would recommend bh at sb one time, I don't think it's worth visiting later, especially if they go near the same season they go ahead. two more observations: 1. the personal is very wonderful. 2.I wouldn't interfere with the deli for lunch. eating is nothing special. also we have a bag of popcorn and it was stale as possible."
