"New Anarkali is a cosy place with good food. The drawback is the service. I have been there three times the last two years, and every time, the service is at best negligent, at worst directly aggressive. The waiters ignore you if you´re not sitting at their table, when you sit down, you don´t get water, menu or a friendly smile. No free papadums and practically no attention until you order. There are so many other nice Indian restaurants with better service in Oslo, avoid this one."

Lovely little place, good food reasonable prices (for Norway) which is expensive overall. A little cramped seating wise. Good portion size and able to tune the spice level.

Small and lively place. It can get very full so make sure you book a table. Also it is a bit loud and you sit very close to everyone. However the food is delicious and the portions are just the right size. Food is also served fast. This is not the best place for kids or babies as it is cramped. They can serve alcohol.
