"NEW REVIEW: We have been to Off the Hook several times over the past several years. In fact, after my initial review (posted at the bottom , we did indeed try again and have been pleased each time. That's what keeps us going back. I don't remember which of the rolls I had, except that it was delicious! We always sit at the sushi counter so we can ask questions. Great quality sushi . Always delicious and fresh. Love the togo online ordering option! Having 2 kids and working full time I do appreciate being able to order and go home to enjoy.

One of the best places I’ve eaten at in Tahoe. I will for sure be returning. I recommend the BBQ short ribs, the yellow tail sashimi and the Gambler roll. The service is also great : the only negative was that we didn’t really love the mochi

When I read all the reviews about this place I had to try them for myself. Ordered miso soup, sugar mama, funky roll medina, hula girl, crunchy granola and sunomono with fish. Out of the five dish, I would say the sugar mama was the best. Great presentation and a good mix of everything, making it my will definitely order again roll. The crunchy granola and funky roll medina both tied for second. The hula girl was different due to the nuts inside, but for me did not work texturally.
