There was a couple that would not stop staring at us, wasn’t sure if it as because me and my partner were the only people of color but it was weird and uncomfortable. I can’t blame them completely, though, because the seating of the dining room we were in, was awkward. Prior to our most recent experience, the previous time before, We did not get waited on for almost half an hour, while all the people around us got served their food and brought their drinks. We ended up having to leave because the waitress or waiter took too long, And no one gave us any kind of customer service. Will try going again because...

A wonderful Italian restaurant with outstanding food, service and warm, welcoming atmosphere.

Went here on a whim and went home happy. Certainly see how this could be one of the better Italian food places in the suburbs. A beautiful, intimate setting indoors makes for a wonderful date spot. The staff were all very pleasant and helpful. Everyone was very nice. The food, while good, had a few missteps that could have made it great. For instance, perhaps using raw tomato in a white sauce isn't the best idea. Everything lacked a little more salt. Again, the food was good but could have been great. Especially with the prices nearing or exceeding the cost of similar dishes for better restaurants in Chicago proper. But being a little further out, it makes more sense. Definitely go here for...
