"Sport Bar meets Panera. It came to lunch in the area and decided to have a whim to try Peggs. I had no idea what the place was, but wrongly assumed it was like a diner. No, you go to the vault, pay, get your drinks, get a number and sit down. The food is brought to your table. The food was good, but the place on a Sunday afternoon was full of screaming children and people watching the game. A great obtuse woman was there to throw a ball inside and give the children in her group a loud game when the diners were sitting around her. We came on 11/16 and had a family dinner. It was absolutely the best we had in a long time. The food came pretty fast for a big group. The pizza was the best. And everyone was so friendly.

I picked up an order for my office. Everyone loved sandwiches there, one of my employees even said that one of the best sandwiches he had in the area of St. Louis. He got the hot roast beef sandwich on the garlic cheese bread. Great service was all marked and easy to handle. We ordered 15 sandwiches.

Well, I'm kind of torn. I ordered the Spicy Chicken Pizza... the pizza came with a grilled chicken and onion with a really nice cheese mix. The overall taste was really nice....but there were literally no spices. None. Not even a little. There were some very thin generic hot sauce used as pizza sauce. But it had no heat. Nothing. If you want to advertise a spicy chicken pizza, then a small heat would be appreciated.
