"We had the half rack of ribs and loved them. The collards, Brunswick stew, Mac and cheese and greens beans were awesome as well. I was surprised to find they give a side of hush puppy thingys that were ever so great as well. And the staff… so amazing! They really care about you. It has been a while since I’ve been to a restaurant were the staff treats you like family. Don’t pass this place up! Kid-friendliness: Great place for the entire family."

Amazing food and beautiful atmosphere. Only regret is that we didn’t find out about this place until our last day of vacation. Definitely would’ve ate there again. We appreciate the good sanitation grade and the hard work that takes!

Maybe we hit them on an off day today but the chopped brisket sandwich both myself and husband ordered was horrible. The bun was not soft and the meat tasted like pure liquid smoke. The hush puppies were tough as well. My husband said his baked beans were good but my fried okra was tough also. It was just overall a horrible experience.
