"I had been to the Rooster many times for beers with friends. Always friendly bartenders, cold beer and cool atmosphere. This past weekend was my first visit here strictly for dinner (of course I had a few adult cocktails as well). With our 8 year old son in tow, we stopped in on a Thursday night around 6pm. There is a family friendly dining area as you come in the door and we were greeted and seated right away. Waitress grabbed our drink order as our son was given crayons and a kids menu. A few other families were there with their kids and numerous crayon drawings adorning the walls reassured us that this was a family restaurant. Nice menu with good variety of pub grub. This place has gone downhill. The food is okay but the wait for the food is terrible. I used to come here a lot but thanks to some rude employees my last dollar has been spent at this establishment. I will not longer be dining here and I will make sure to tell everyone else I know not to either.

It was my first visit to the area and to Red Rooster Roadhouse. We were seated immediately and greeted well. It has a fun family atmosphere. The wait staff was nice and accommodating. Portions are decent. It was by far the best fish fry I've ever had. Didn't love the coleslaw but the fish made up for it. I would absolutely visit again.

Came to the area for a family trip and stopped by here with my dad. We ordered some buffalo garlic wings, a chicken tender wrap with bacon, cheese, and a sweet sauce and cheese fries. The wings were crispy, flavorful, garlicky, and paired well with the blue cheese. The wrap was excellent. It had a very unique flavor that i haven't had in a chicken wrap. Kind of like a sweet honey vinegrette while not being overly sweet. The cheese fries were honestly so good. Extremely crispy fries, the cheese was a bechamel i believe made in house and topped with jalapenos and bacon. I also want to say that after having all this heavy food i still felt light.
