For once there was an English menu, but the translations might put you off choosing a dish, as they were a tad inaccurate at times. Excellent soup, bratkartoffeln scrumptious, good value and good wines. Staff members became more and more friendly as they realised we could carry on a conversation with them"

The restaurant is on the square but does not have the best of views as opposite the toilets but they are quite discreet. The menu is good, and a range of dishes. My goulash was lovely and the liver my husband had was excellent. Friendly...service and good value

A typical restaurant of the region providing local fair. We had snitzel, one with fries and one with bratkartoffeln which was described as baked potato but was in fact fried potato and bacon pieces, very nice. We had a litre bottle of German red which...was very nice too. Waitresses friendly and the cost about average. A safe choice. one of the few restaurants to offer an English description this is really useful as menu descriptions can be quite baffling even if you have basic understanding of the language
