"We were given a table right next to the window so we had a lovely view of the river. We were happy to find an Indian restaurant as it is our favourite cuisine. It had many vegetarian and vegan options on the menu. We chose the samosas to start and they came with three small pots of dipping sauce. Had the lunch special, soup, naan, a curry very good value and good taste! High up and nice windows to watch the river flowing by Friendly staff, I would come here again, they have a lot of good looking things on the menu!

We live in Basel and enjoy going here: a view of the river, nice owner, reasonable prices and tasty food. And the restaurant tends to be relatively empty I think because the Swiss don't like to eat ethnic food so much. But we love it. Highly recommend.

There is much to like about this restaurant: The river view, the simple but classy interior and the seven vegan main dishes. However the only outdoor seating is on the street side (somewhat loud) and at least the person I talked to had trouble communicating in English or German so it was hard to find out about vegan issues. Note that the internet only has the menu from their Zurich branch and does not show the vegan dishes.
