"I don't know how this slipped so long under our radar! really incredible eating, especially for this area! we had 9 different dishes: sunflowers burrata, short rippentare, duck wing, bbq carrots, paccheri, jazzy catsu, milk bread, crispy kartoffels and sticky turff pudding. all were lovely, but the highlights for me were the milk bread, the wings and the soup. the service was great- this place loves a plate change! the server sent a court to a time so that we were able to chat a good time in the restaurant and enjoy eating and drinking. I would also recommend their early-spirited old-fashioned as well as the chocolate espresso martini, which was not sirup sweet as in many others. we will definitely come back and again, I am particularly excited to see how their menu changes, as the summer brings fresh products"

"What an unexpected gem. I popped in out of curiosity having seen their beautiful garden patio from the other side of the canal. What a wonderful surprise to find not only a local coffee house, but an amazing smoothie place as well. Their kitchen is currently closed with hopes it will be back up and running soon. So, I am super picky about smoothies, as I am trying to eat healthy these days. I typically make my own at home without added sugar or sweateners. Let me say, they use fresh ingredients so the fruit has its own natural sugars to make their smoothie just sweet enough to be a treat and good fuel for the rest of my afternoon. I'm hoping for another beach day, so we can stop by before 1 p.m. as they close at 2 p.m."

"We ordered the Charcuterie board for our appetizers and it was really good. My entree was the Mediterranean pork tenderloin medallions. They were amazing, the sides were iffy. First time eating polenta and not a fan and the big beans were definitely a no go for me. There was four of us and we all ordered different things and was tasting each others so that worked out for all of us. Would we go back, yes to see what the summer menu will be. Hopefully more seafood. Chilean seabass is a suggestion from me. But in all, it was good but not outstanding. Just go and give it a try as each palette is different with us."

"the first time at planks and it was a winner! we wanted to go to our jubilee dinner early, so I reserved a table around 1730. they also honored mine to be near the kamin. plank had an early 3-course dinner and a wine special. we both loved the sesame meerroten thunfisch excellent worth. the service was also excellent and isabella is a caregiver! will go again"

"very good food and taste. wish more people came with the idea that jeans and flannel shirt is inappropriate and easy to damn comfortable. they should have gone to chili 's or applebees. we choose to dress casual as there are very few local restaurants where dressing seems to be more acceptable than not. could they have at least a good alcohol-free beer?"
