"Service was subpar. Waiter finally showed up and took drink orders then disappeared. Had to go ask another employee to find our waiter. Service finally picked up a little after this incident. I tipped 20%, not because the service deserved it, but because it was July 4th and just glad that someone was kind of working. The best part of the meal was the salad. We didn't order any specials. Everyone at the table ordered an entrée' off the menu, and a couple of deserts. First time that I have ever been to Romano's, even though I have been back in San Antonio since 74' and remember them opening in the 80's. Nothing spectacular that shouted I should come back."

I loved this restaurant. The staff was so on top of things and super friendly. I actually felt like I was in a restaurant in Italy. Give it a try.

It doesn’t look too inviting until you walk in. The staff greets you and you walk into an Italian dream. The food was great, the restaurant was clean and the staff was friendly.

All the staff were super friendly, and our waiter Sam was awesome. The complimentary bread was amazing. We ordered Salmon and it was some of the best salmon I've ever had. We also ordered 3 desserts, all of which were really good. Really amazing experience!
