"I have lived in Monroe for 33 years and have on very few occasions eaten at Sal’s. I do not understand why this restaurant was not on my radar. We ordered food because we had a gift certificate and I was working late. My dinner was simple, a salad with prosciutto olives mozzarella and more and escarole and bean soup. It was my first time at Sal. We went for brunch after the funeral of a family and it was fantastic the setting, the staff we had a lovely time.
