"While vacationing in Fairbanks we searched for some local restaurants and Saltys came highly recommended not only by Google but also on Diners, Drive ins and Dives. I cant say we had the best waitress, she seemed annoyed to be waiting on a group our size (8). But the food was still excellent. Triple D was correct mamas meatball sub was excellent and the sandwiches and selection of beers on tap were superb as well. We sat in the bar instead of the restaurant side and enjoyed the ambiance. excellent service in an entertaining environment. the philly steak wrap was amazing! like the Alaskan mule! my friend reported that the garnel and grits were good, but too fat waaay. the piña colada mimosa was a bit strange.

I really enjoyed my time here. The place was really clean and you could tell that they took a lot of pride in how their building looked. Bright colors and spacious area. They have a good sized menu and their food was pretty good. They have a beer menu, but should just not give it to anyone as they are locally sourced so it’s whatever the breweries give them, which is completely off from their menu. Kind of made me laugh. I will probably go back again.
