the occasion was very sad. due to a godless renter, this real restaurant ends business in two days. those of us who love membe (the owner) are deeply sad.

it is so sad that this beloved restaurant will be closed on June 6, 2018. I wish I knew earlier about this wonderful place, but I only read that it is closed in a recent article in the sf chronicle.
