"First of all, it is important to note that this is a takeout restaurant, so there is no dining atmosphere. I have been ordering takeout from this place for years and have always had good results. The key to getting good food from any Chinese takeout place is knowing which dishes are their specialty. It might involve some trial and error, but you can always ask the chef or cashier for their favorite dishes to try. I highly recommend the General Tso's Chicken and the Garlic Chicken, which come with a variety of vegetables and delicious flavors. The Egg Rolls are also tasty and crunchy. The Shrimp Fried Rice and Lo Mein are good choices as well. If you're looking for something really spicy, go for the Singapore Mei Fun - it packs a lot of heat! The service is typical for a takeout place, but the staff is friendly enough. They work long hours and are open even on most holidays, indicating that it is likely a family-run business. I am a big supporter of these independent, non-franchised businesses, as they seem to be disappearing. Overall, I give this place a thumbs up for their delicious food and convenient hours of operation."

"KUMO GOT ME THROUGH BAR EXAM PREP! I had kumo multiple times a week while at home studying for the bar exam for two months straight and every time I was so happy because the food is delicious. I even decided that lunch special chicken terriakyi was what I’d have for the first day of the Bar Exam, so my dad picked it up and brought it to the hotel I was taking it in in Uniondale during my lunch break. I cannot recommend this place enough!!! Their lunch special are reasonable priced and they give a great amount! I’ve also been eating here since I went to VSN north and will keep continuing to do so! "Very fast and friendly service, the food was amazing and one of the only times I've gone to a diner with free coffee refills and the coffee doesn't taste like water. The serving sizes were large and worth their price and I am so sad that I found this jewel of a restaurant a week before the way from Talstrom. If you're looking for a nice place for breakfast / brunch don't look further! I still have to taste their lunch / dinner, but I had their quiche as well as their Corned beef hash and Caesar salad. Friend had pancakes, eggs and bacon. Very delicious 10/10 would go again. Also watching the connection that the waiters had with some of the customers was so good that it exploded my heart. Just listen to one of the servers when she saw a master name and looked at him and the usual? Another spoke to an older couple who was on a date and treated them with so much kindness and respect. You don't see that kind of real kindness much anymore. Amazing that this place has such good relations with its restaurant goers."

"This is the kind of place Nassau Blvd is really desperate for. There aren’t a lot of options to sit down and have a nice meal that feels like a community restaurant. Glad to see they expanded. We were there on a Friday night and the service was pretty slow, they were either short staffed or are still inexperienced with renovation and increased sit down business but the service otherwise was good/accommodating and we enjoyed our food. I hope the strip continues to develop like this because there is such a missed opportunity with the university down the road, the community has seemed very resistant to updated and quality food but it seems as though things are changing for the better. Glad this place seems to be doing well and has been able to add additional texture to the community."

"Always missing order notes. I order hazelnut coffee creamer and pay extra for it and it is never. It's always milk. Don't people understand that some people are lactose intolerant and creamer actually doesn't have lactose in it. Their turkey sausage is nothing more than those little frankfurters that you get at a party. Absolutely terrible. No taste at all. Once a mistake but 2nd third time, they have lost me as a customer."
