"If you love BBQ, you will love Santa Maria BBQ!!! The food is EXCELLENT!!! The staff and customer service is EXCELLENT!!! I was delighted from the second I walked in with the delicious aroma of BBQ hitting my taste buds before I actually ate!!!!!! The restaurant itself is beautiful and spacious, which makes it the perfect place to eat with the whole family, date night, with friends, or pretty much anytime they are open. There's parking around the back and are available for pick-up. This place is awesome so go and have the best BBQ of all time!!!! No exaggeration, the Beef Rib I had here might be the best tasting piece of meat of any kind I have ever had. (Insert joke here) seriously it was amazing, doesn't even need sauce but if you want their sauce was excellent as well. It was one of those things you eat that are so good you want to all your friends eat it too just so they understand how good it was.

Worse bbq experienced I have had in a long time . Brisket and beef rib was very dry and lack seasoning and smoke flavor . Honestly our food looked and tasted like it was leftover bbq from the day before . Portion was ridiculous and very overpriced. I do not recommend this place at all . It is very disappointing when you spend good money and the food is made with no heart or pride and reflects on the final product.

"WHAT INCREDIBLE EXPERIENCE THIS PLACE IS.I’ve heard from multiple friends this place was a ‘must go’ but since I don’t live close I’ve always been curious about trying this place. Last night me and some friends were near and were craving tacos, we went to the location in Anaheim but it was super packed, so we decided to go to this location and I think it was the best choice we ever made. It was busy but not as crazy as the one in Anaheim, unfortunately we got there minutes before the closing and there was no more ‘costillas’ available, which we wanted to try badly but that didn’t stopped us from ordering. We ordered a ‘cholo pizza’ with carne asada, and tacos from the prime meat menu. I would say this is the best carne asada I’ve ever had, it was so flavorful, not so dry and the portions are insane, YOU GET YOUR MONEY WORTH. The prime meats were so delicious and super tasteful, and again the amount of meat the put in the tacos is tremendously. Right after finished we had to get the Papa Loka just to try it and it was BOMB. WE COULDN’T EVEN FINISHED IT.The staff was very very nice, since they noticed it was our first time some of them they were recommending what to get and their favorite choices which were really good. GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE.The place is very clean, and the atmosphere is really nice…I can’t wait to drive all the wait to Fullerton again to eat here again, this time… for the costillas!"

"This is a good spot for Pho, Lomo saltado, and garlic noodles. Unlike other pho locations that only seem to have hot water with some spices in it, this location will not disappoint when it comes to their pho selection and broth. One of their most delicious meals is the lomo saltado, however I ordered the garlic noodles with steak, which unfortunately had a hair in it I know it wasn't mine due to the fact that the color strand did not match my hair color and the hair was wrapped and intertwined with two steak pieces) the staff was nice to cook another fresh dish for me and apply a small discount (didn't even have to ask them to do so) . I did feel a bit ignored as the waitress only kept asking my date what was it that he needed, she didn't offer drinks, I'm assuming that she assumed we didn't want anything to drink. When my date finally was able to catch her attention he ordered his drink and as he was about to speak his next sentence she said ok I'll be back I was like what about meeee she came back quickly with the drink and my date quickly had to grab her attention to order mine which she took long to bring over. I'm sure she was busy but it still unusual for a waitress to only be paying attention to one person on the table or to not offer drinks. This will not stop me from coming back though. The food is delicious not to want to try the rest of their food."

"This is my second time coming to this location. First time was...8 years ago...when I took a date to this spot. Back then, I have to admit...pasta and chicken was...good. When I came here with my 2 hispanic friends...I would have never guessed their chicken would be this damn good. Same owner? Maybe. Different cook? Most likely. I will be back next time to do take outs or dine-in."
