"Over-rated Not a big fan of ? mushrooms in fettuccine carbonara.Who takes 45 minutes to whip up a salad ? on a Thursday early bird evening.More gracious hostess answering their phone would be a huge plus.their in ept wait~staff needs to be the first to go.Best bet would to serve take~out via an automated service.Chain ristorantes such as Max•a•Mia put this one to shame.Celebrated our mother's birthday on July 8th with my brother...he had to go to the bar to make his own cup of ? tea. Really¿?GOT MILK¿?Seems if you're not a raving alcoholic~no drinks for you!!My favorite niece Laura splurged on dinner for she and I to celebrate her new darling ? puppy GIGI most recently. ..spent a solid hour giggling over the outrageous tab. Was like having Chelsea both Jimmy's ~Fallon Kimmel over for dinner to critique the establishment that tries to portray themselves as italianos. Joke.Nothing short of thee most pathetic attempt a nice Italian ristorante.Needless to say...you couldn't comp the meal to ever get ME to return; therefore, don't bother.Would much rather do BERTUCCI'z.CIAO"

"We ordered online this evening from Chef Prasad in New Canaan, and in the notes, we mentioned an allergy and we got a phone call from the restaurant to make sure that we would be OK (Thanks, Chuck Our food was delicious! The customer service was fabulous! And there were no allergy issues. Can't wait to try something else next time!"

"Friend had raved about this place, but I realize now it's likely more for the very knowledgeable bartenders. My food was kind of awful, actually. My prime rib tartare app was not a fresh pink, but mottled with grey and brown beef...not sure if old meat or partially cooked? There was also a shrimp peel in it. I separately ordered 2 of the shrimp cocktail, but I could taste what seemed like dirty hands had touched them, not cold enough either. I had the fish and chips special and never have experienced such stringy fish...didn't know fish ever got stringy...the fries were bland and super dry. My husband was also not impressed with his food and we both feel it was extraordinarily overpriced for what it was. We are in our 50s and very experienced restaurant visitors in Fairfield county. This place seemed like a lot of attitude with few fine touches to back it up. Kind of a d-bag parade, which I usually enjoy, but the food was certainly sub par."
