"I took my wife here for my birthday. That was our first time, and we were impressed. We recommend trying this place! The staff treated us with friendly hospitality, the ambience of the restaurant is exactly what you want for BBQ. But above all, the food was phenomenal. We ordered 2 of their signature Handwiches (The Austin The Kona). Fantastic! The brisket and pork shoulders were melted in your mouth, the taste of the smoke was present in the meat, but not over powering, and the homemade bbq chips were glued on the cake. Full plate of spicy dry friction ribs. Very delicious spicy beans. Red cabbage Coleslaw sweet potatoes. Almost two meals for two people (depending on how hungry you are the first time through! Ranks up there with the best available in Peoria.

This place is fantastic! Came right at the opening and got a delicious dish of food that fed three of us. It really feels like you're going home in someone and getting an authentic bbq lunch. Both I and my wife loved everything on the plate and the bbq sauces were amazing. A must!

Just had a bodacious BBQ brisket sandwich by Slow Hand BBQ. We ordered it today and picked it up. I ordered the Austin sandwich and was blown away from the flavors. The bride was perfect moist, tender and fleshy. My daughter had the cona; the pineapple salsa made it fabulously connected to the pig. Our pages of Mac and Cheese and Cornbread were also delicious. Portions were plentiful. Will definitely order again from here!!
