"My friend and I stopped here last December for what we hoped was a late lunch. Behind the bar was staffed, and there were a few customers chatting happily with them and among themselves. They watched us enter but didn't acknowledge our presence, so we seated ourselves. We waited and waited: for a menu, a glance, a word, any sign of service. "My grandparents only have a 5 rating when they ran the restaurant it was an empire they created teamwork to help all their love ones brothers sisters grandchildren children great grandchildren. that's how it was back in their era. I can't stand one way streets when ones just take take take but don't give back. My whole family is like that to the most kindness people I was ever blessed to have in my life since a child. I can admit I took time for with them there's no way for me to take that back. Time goes by so quick one minute your children are babies and the next they're having their own babies Their restaurant was destroyed within a year of turning it over to their sons. At my corporation my salons, the number rule of thumb was if you're just doing it for the money you will fail and ruin the business. You need to love what you do and be grateful because it provides the money to take care of your children and help the ones you truly love with all your heart, charities n strangers. Like feeding ones who are hungry. Which I learned from my grandparents they never would turn someone down a meal if they didn't have the money."

"Their coffee and food is great. The workers Lauren and Rosie are so kind but the Owner is horrible...... we spend 100s of dollars here every week my family and I and enjoyed going there until today...I ordered my coffee as usual and when I got them they didn’t taste right. I told the cashier Lauren and she said they ran out of the vanilla and she needed to make more... so I said no problem and waited I asked for her to remade them just because they weren’t right. She said no problem and was remaking them. When I came back in she told me she had to charge me for them. Which I didn’t understand because I couldn’t drink them they were wrong so I just asked for my money back if she was gonna charge me again for coffees I wasn’t going to drink. The owner came out flipping out saying we always cause problems and to leave. I said I’m not going to leave till I get my money back she continued to scream in front of everyone in the store to leave and then finally I think realized no one is going to leave until they got their money back so she told me to wait in the corner. The cashier told me again nicely that’s why I wanted to let you know I was going to have to charge you before I made them I said thank you and I’m sorry again then owner Wendy came out again and told me to shut up and I told her I was just answering back the cashier she then screamed at her employee to not speak to me. The cops came (thank goodness) we waited outside for them. They even couldn’t believe this that my order was wrong and just wanted it to be remade and the owner wanted to charge me for It!!!! But like they said it’s her business her rules.... even though they don’t agree with them. I just wanted to warn everyone to what my family and I had to go through. So now we will find another small coffee shop to bring our business too. We now understand why they can’t keep staff in there. The owner is awful. I feel horrible for the employees. I will be sure to tell everyone and anyone I know see to beware. It’s very sad because i thought it was a wonderful spot until you meet the owner!"
