"The Vivian sonic location will, from now on, be a last choice for us. This location at 2:30 pm was not busy or crowded with customer. The time it took for them to answer the service button was excessively long. The order was filled and brought to me in a short time. When opening the order it was a mess and falling apart. "This was truly my 1st time eating here tonight 03-18-2022 and I highly recommend coming here and if you don't you are truly missing out on some good southern cooking,,,,the food was was really amazing I had a pulled pork sandwich with french fries with a side of baked beans and with a glass of southern sweet tea and my waitress she was truly amazing had a really good attitude was really good with the customer's,,,I definitely will be coming back"

"Actually we did not go down to the Burks café, they delivered food to us. I cannot begin to tell you how wonderful everything was and the gentleman that brought our food to us was super nice. I called around last evening trying to find something to get delivered to us, Pizza Hut, Subway, Chicken place and none delivered. So I called Burks Cafe early this morning and lo and behold the guy said yes he could deliver food to us. We’re setting not far from the restaurant but we’re in the big rig and we can’t leave the trailer and with this new E-log thing, we can’t move the truck. We were most happy that he delivered. We had bacon, sausage, eggs, toast and people get this... grits and he even brought a pot full of coffee in a thermos type pot, so we had coffee all day and in that thermos carafe it was hot and so very good. Probably the best coffee we’ve had since we’ve been on the road, yes it was that good. Later in the day, he brought dinner/lunch to us... Meat loaf, pork chops gravy, white rice, mashed potatoes gravy, boiled cabbage, Okra with tomatoes, candied sweet potatoes, black eyed peas and 2 big old hunks of corn bread! Lordy sakes thought we’d died and gone to heaven! Southern cookin’ at its best. He said they were getting ready to close for the day but if we needed anything to let him know. OMG! Can you believe that? Seriously, you don’t get something like that in this day and time. Bill I were absolutely blown away!!!!! So may I suggest if you’re ever in Vivian Louisiana by all means stop by Burks Café on the corner of Pine Street Airport Road, you won’t be sorry."
