"My wife and I stopped in for a quick evening meal. She ordered a burger and I ordered the chicken fried steak. When the waitress delivered my plate of food, I noticed a clear fluid pouring off the side of the plate. The red potatoes were covered in a large amount of raw garlic. The fluid that was pouring off the side of the plate was garlic juice. The potatoes were also heavily covered in dill and not fully cooked. The meat was tasteless except for the garlic juice. We have eaten at Spiffy's many times and always find the food to be good. We drive down from Tacoma to meet friends that drive North from Portland. Staff is always friendly and take good care of us. I note you say they do not take reservations, but they do take reservations. We always make reservations as some times Spiffy's is very busy.
