"Traveling through town on a long weekend getaway and wanting some good food Jakes was a great choice. This was a fantastic meal in a really cool atmosphere. DW had catfish and I ordered Cobb salad. Both were excellent. Her tartar sauce was almost adill flavor really good and the catfish was cooked perfectly. Crispy outer and soft flaky inside without being chewy. TheCobb salad was supposed to be a lighter choice but it is a real meal! Loved the chicken, perfectly done hard cooked egg, and thelettuce was fresh and crisp. Also appreciated the 10% discount for cash."

"Not from Idabel, but next time that way, will stop and eat again! Home made rolls were warm and wonderful, chicken fried steak was said to be one of the best ever eaten, and the cheeseburger was divine! Wait staff were great also, prices were exceptional for the quality! A do over! Thanks!"

"I wish I could rate this place lower than one star. I specifically asked for no sour items and nothing boring, yet they added more sour ingredients anyway. This made me nauseous during my pregnancy, especially since I’m lactose intolerant. The staff gave me a dirty look at the window, then turned to their colleagues and laughed while handing me my food. It was absolutely ridiculous."

"This store has a staff full of welcoming workers. They are always smiling. Tonight, Colten did a great job in the drive through and made sure our food was hot and fresh. He also made sure our ice cream wasn’t melted. They were really busy and he did a great job and didn’t serve us subpar food. Great attention to detail Colten!"

"My food was cooked fresh and my order was correct despite being 10 minutes before close. The only downside was no ice in my drink. I have had less than stellar experiences in the past but this was definitely a highlight."
