"Not what I was expecting. I was traveling through the area a couple years ago and saw they had a Luau Pizza with a coconut sauce and toasted coconut, ham and pineapple. Unfortunately, they were closed the day I rolled through. This time I made sure they were going to be open when I was traveling through again mid June. I love coconut and never heard of a pizza like that so very excited. I ordered takeout. That pizza without red peppers and their hush puppies with pimento cheese. The girl who took my order said that those were her favorite items from the menu so I had high hopes. I get my order and go to my RV. I open the pizza it doesn't look great. I take a bite and it's lacking any coconut flavor. The hush puppies were ice cold. I was going to go back in to tell them but I figured I was going to have to heat them once I arrived at my RV park so why bother though I'm sure they would have been excellent fried and crispy. I didn't complain about the pizza at that moment either because it was edible just not what I was hoping for. Nice restaurant though. Seating inside and out. Friendly staff. I would go back if ever in area again and maybe try their pulled pork or other BBQ and would eat at the restaurant instead of carryout."

"Nice owners, did a lot to help the kids find some fishing poles and life jackets for the boat. Everything was in working order. It’s rustic, so expect that, but we were pleasantly surprised to have wifi and a tv. The cabin was clean. There’s dishes but not a full set of silverware so grab some plastic ware! Would love if they had a washer and dryer. Can’t beat being right on the Paint River."

"Had a beer and and a burger and the fresh cut fries here and they were both extremely good for a really good price!! Was greeting with a smile upon entering by the young gentleman behind the counter (what a nice greeting) and had an enjoyable conversation with him and another local, and later the owner and cook too I believe came out and joined and I learned a lot about the town, including the tidbit that the building Wimpy's is in is the oldest building in Crystal Falls, and the owner renovated it a few years ago (apparently he's fixed up a bunch of the building in Crystal Falls). Way too cool. The people in this town are great!"

"The overall experience was great. The quality of food and quantity of food was tremendous. The meats turkey, prime rib, pulled pork, and ribs were smoked perfectly. The sides were top of the line quality, high end and tasty. .mashed potatoes, Mac and cheese gourmet, a really delightful parfait bar with juicy sweet raspberries,blueberries, bananas, strawberries and homeade granola. The dinner rolls were tasty and fresh. The hot foods were hot. The cold foods cold just the way we love our foods) Also, they have blackberry ice tea and lemonades with various fruit blends. The dining experience was awesome. The building is so unique... comfortable and clean. The wait staff is friendly, kind, attentive and helpful. The owner came to our table he was friendly and told his story. Great experience....and will visit again"
