"I stumbled upon this place on a whim on the morning of 06/17/17. Has no idea it was a Japanese bakery as I approached. Of course I was more focused on my 6 yr olds random story of the minute at the time. Upon entering, my daughter gravitated to the front facing pastry counter display. I then began to look around and realize just what kind of a gem I had stumbled into. The gal working the counter greeted in a soft spoken, yet pleasant manner, informing me that if I had any questions to feel free to let her know. Me being me though, I just wanted to snoop about first and absorb and process the environment first. From there, I watched guests pick up a self service tray, and begin selecting from the various puff, pastry, and sweet roll options on display along the wall of goodness. It was at this point that I realized my 6 yr old had the place worked out as she got herself a tray and tongs. Together we selected some cocoa puffs that watch you stroll by, a couple cream puffs, a cocoa filled croissant, and a cocoa banana coconut on croissant pastry. To which we made my wives and daughters morning. Simply put, this place deserves your attention. Even if you choose not to dine. You will not regret it."

"this place is absolutely magical. I only learned about it a few months ago, but already three times back and planned several more visits. not only the personal friendly and knowledgeable and the service fantastic, but the eating and tee are absolutely incredible. the facility and the ambiente are different from any other restaurant I have ever visited, and they can say that it loves to detail in exactly all aspekten des ortes. clockwork rose is fast to one of my absolute favorite places since the move into the pnw. I can't praise it enough!"

"What’s not to love? We had Turkish coffees, pancakes, and a cheese/parsley pastry. Everything was delicious and employees were so kind (and quick). Cozy indoor seating and a few outdoor tables. Found parking easily around the corner. Service: Dine in Meal type: Breakfast Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5"

"I had lunch. When I was from Florida, I was delighted to find a Puerto Rican restaurant. The food was fresh, hot and the service was fast. The maize fritters and fried plantains were great. The Cuban and Rock Steak sandwiches were perfect. Be ready to eat a good amount of food. Condiments were great (would love to see banan ketchup too! The staff was friendly, the business was clean, and although it is able to find a little hard to find (you can easily miss it TV car, this place makes for a great little hiding place. You can enjoy the atmosphere and food by using bamboo to protect the business and the terrace from traffic. I would definitely recommend it to everyone who enjoys the Caribbean fare."

"Probably the most delicious place on the planet, well at least the Portland area. Can I give it 6 stars? So much choice, so many flavors. Something for everyone. Ambiance is akin to Vegas and is spacious. They do have a lighter fare menu with meals about 600 calories or less. But the glory is in the dinner menu. An international line up that should please your palette. Thai lettuce wraps were amazingly flavorful. The spicy refers to the mix of flavors and not heat. Cheddar stuffed burger cheese oozed over the fries. A great combo. Messy and wonderful. Coconut curry chicken and rice was enough to take some home and enjoy again later. We will return again and again to get a taste of all the other great offerings. But we have to wait till payday because most choices are $15 and up. Staff was friendly and restaurant was very clean. Text to you when your table is ready if there is a wait. Enjoy!!"
