"The Caprese salad was fantastic. The seafood was mediocre considering the restaurant's location on the coast. The lobster thermidor was disappointing, as it was mostly sauce with very little lobster meat. The dish was supposed to have a variety of seafood. The waiter provided good service. The shrimp was not great, but sometimes that happens. Overall, the staff did their best to take care of us."

"The wait was excessively long and not worth it. We only saw our server three times: when we placed our order, when she brought our food, and when she brought the check. They were out of everything we tried to order. When we finally received our food, it was overcooked. I will not be returning."

"We 've been coming to Kiawah Island for more than 35 years. When Freshfield 's Village opened a few years ago, we were excited when new restaurants came on to the scene. They 've all been hit or miss. We decided to give Cantina 76 a try as we were in the mood for Mexican food. Complimentary chips and salsa? Nope, diners must buy the salsa for $5 and the Queso was $7 or $8. Wife wanted to order the Chimichanga but didn 't want a couple of ingredients that was in it. Our server said, I 'm sorry, but these are pre-made 'frozen ' We were stunned. Frozen? So, we each ordered 2 tacos and an enchilada. I ordered the buffalo chicken taco and peruvian shrimp taco along with a chicken enchilada. The buffalo chicken taco was 2 spicy chicken nuggets with wing sauce on a soft tortilla with a pinch of lettuce on top. I laughed. Frozen nuggets reheated apparently. As was the enchilada. In fact, all the meat items for the tacos (wife had the chicken taco and traditional beef taco) looked and tasted like reheated from frozen. Total bill for grand total of 4 tacos and 2 enchiladas along with a basket of chips, salsa and queso was $57 including tip. Water was our beverage. It 's a nice place, but the vibe was lacking and the food definitely not up to par. We were here at 6 PM on a Friday night and there were maybe 3-4 other couples here. If you 're staying on either Kiawah or Seabrook, save your money and just go to Harris Teeter and buy frozen entrees and a bag of tortilla chips."

"This place is more of a sports bar, so it's not your quiet type eatery, it is very loud, and very lively when certain games are playing. I will never fault a restaurant for being loud when that is its very spirit! The food is not top quality cuisine like fine dining, hence the four stars on that, but please don't take that as anything negative; It's quite the opposite in fact. The food itself is very good for what this type of restaurant offers. Sports bars normally have basic food that has flavor but not exquisite. Pictured here is a bacon burger with their special tangy sauce, which is actually quite good so to speak. Their fries are crunchy so if you don't like that, this may not be for you. The service was incredible, I was served by a bartender by the name of Tyler H. He was very chill, very friendly, and hearing he was willing to sacrifice his time off to work here because of rather dubious workers gives me great respect to this grill. I will most definitely be visiting here every time I visit Kiawah simply because its workers have faith in the restaurant. I wish that kid the best of luck, and great kudos for his diligence in dealing with the customers. Especially a dork such as myself."

"they surely immerse the fish restaurant. Definitiw decent enough for a meal, but if they are looking for this sweet resort for an all-out deluxe seafood cuisine, then this is probably not. everything is quite fried and very fat. I got the crabcakes; they were in order, but I would not order them again because they were not lump and instead were super stringy and damp inside. decent taste, but necessary to cook more. for $38 I expected more. I've been riding and hush puppy as my side. fries were nothing special; the lush puppies were really delicious. the environment is very nice for pictures and hike on the marina."
