"this place is the best Italian restaurant that I have been in all socal! the food is absolutely mouthwater and whenever I smell it (as I survive from the road) I always want something! this restaurant deserves a kind price for the amount of delicious cooked in this kitchen. I can't show almost enough how much I love this place and the cook behind this magic of the ingredients."

"Its nice to have something fresh and new in the canyon. They have lots of great snacks and fresh produce. The shakes are the best thing that they have. The food is mediocre at best. If you are looking for gourmet you will have to go somewhere else like Malibu Farm to get that. The selections are pretty limited and a weird array of organic choices. Cute place and nice location, but they need to take a serious look at their service. I have been here multiple times and never once got a please or thank you. Its almost as if you are a bother to them. When I came in this weekend I had a handful of things that I purchased and couldn't carry it all and the guy looked at me trying to balance everything and never asked me if I needed a bag!? I had to ask for one. I just thought this was really strange. Each time I have been in, I experience the same thing no hello, no thank you for coming in and that really bugs me. What happened to our manners in business and thanking the customer for their business? Also, I am not at liberty to tip for buying a shake and getting bad customer service. Maybe that is why I never got asked if I needed a bag to carry all the items I just bought. Just saying."

"I used to love this place and had dinner there at least once a week, but after today I won't ever be going again. The main waiter that works there made me feel beyond uncomfortable. I arrived ahead of my mother and informed him I would be enjoying a glass (or two) of wine before she arrived. He then proceeded to aggressively explain to me that I couldn't just sit and take up a table for over an hour (despite my ordering a drink for myself) and I'd have to leave and come back to eat. Mind you, one other table was taken, every single other patio table was open. When I asked why he was so being so aggressively rude, he informed me Covid protocols don't allow for someone to sit for longer than an hour (which I looked up and isn't true). He then told me if his boss arrived I'd be asked to leave. Every week for over 4 months I've been coming to this restaurant to enjoy a drink and have dinner with my mother. The owner himself has sat me multiple times and has been lovely. We also always tip 25% because we know Covid sucks and people need a boost. It was really shocking to have someone be so unkind to a well paying customer. This place used to be awesome, but I'm never going back."

"The bread came with the most delightful whipped butter unlike anything I’ve ever tasted. The waiter said it was with fennel. We thought it was caraway but nonetheless bizarrely good. The octopus appetizer was standout to me with polenta whipped so it was light and airy. M had the filet and said it was so tender. I had the salmon meh. Then we each had espresso they both came with rock candy!! Goes with the crystal shop near the parking lot. Then we had the lemon tart it was huge and said happy anniversary which was unexpected since it wasn’t our anniversary. The ambiance was great. New age-y like they were blasting enya and yanni and Zamfir with the pan flute but I’ll take it. You can also smell nag champa incense in the air. We’ll be back sometime."

"there is a reason why I can fall here 4 to 6 x’s per week. for claire and pauleen go the extra mile. this is a great family business and they have a high degree of customer service. it is refreshing and the mood is true for the traditional topangan style. there are some affordable items in comparison to other caffes. and I love the Ethiopian brew. I hope that places like these last forever and receive the energy of the roots California. it's a jewel and is a rewarding experience every time."
