"In the interesting town of Pittsboro today to try one of 2 restaurants. Virlie?s, and City Tap. Heard about steak night at Virlie?s but that?s on Friday night and they were closed for the holidays so across the street to City Tap as they were just opening for lunch. Inside dinning was open for around 6 tables, and the bar. They also have a huge covered outdoor area so getting a table shouldn?t be a problem. Order drinks, and your food at the bar, then pick your seating. Only 2 were working the bar/kitchen area, but service was fast even though we were behind 5 groups catching opening time. Blanc and Y. We're pretty cool servers and talk. Has free space and indoor options. Many parking spaces. Will be back.

We were looking for something different to do on the weekend. We headed to Pittsboro and went to the City Tap. It happened to be a quiet time around town, but we had a great time. The staff was awesome and had plenty of time to talk to us. I am not sure why we have never been there before, but it is on our list now.
