"Our family has been patrons of Town Tavern for many years and we have never experienced anything like what we experienced this evening. My husband ordered the tavern tacos and I ordered the southwestern chicken sandwich with tater tots. When we received our food, my tater tots were room temperature or less. I asked our sweet waitress if she would mind to get us some fresh tots and make sure that they were hot. She did that in an efficient manner and brought us a nice warm basket of tater tots. Fun and family friendly atmosphere! Good wings and bar food all around and beer was priced right! Blowing Rock is an excellent place to chill a and enjoy the day while in NC. If you are near come grab a beer.

I would rate this as the best restaurant I have ever visited in Blowing Rock. Great menu, excellent value for the prices, and friendly service with food well prepared and served in a timely manner. Wait method using your phone as notification was top of the line in technical knowledge.

Do I recommend this restaurant? We ate here two days in a row, so yes. We had such a great experience here with Baylee, we came back the next day. Our first night there, It was raining off and on but we opted to risk it and sat outside. They have a great patio area and a live guitar player/singer that was actually very enjoyable and not too loud. I got the ribeye steak and cheese with hot chips and my sister got the French dip with fries. Everything was so good! It did rain and I got wet so I just stood up to stay under the umbrella.
