"The food was absolutely delicious. I had two of the Gourmet Street Tacos: Moroccan Shrimp and Fish. The ingredients were fresh, the sauces were subtle but terrific, and the proportions were very generous. My husband had a chicken-fried steak special that was excellent, and his on-tap beverage was delightful. For dessert, the Tres Leches cake with strawberries was incredibly good. The service was just okay. We tried to order several things but were told they were out of those. The food took quite a while to get to us and the waitress's attention was elsewhere most of the time. The atmosphere left a lot to be desired. There was a private party upstairs, so we sat in the basement bar area. It was a bit gloomy, and the kitschy decor didn't help. Next time, we hope to sit upstairs. We look forward to trying more of the interesting menu. Wheelchair accessibility: Upstairs might be accessible, but the basement/bar area was not."

"An extraordinary dining experience at Sally Pursell's each and every time. You can't go wrong with anything on their menu. Be certain to try their homemade Chicken Pot Pie Soup (with their homemade noodles) if it's available when you're there. Additionally, Mike is an outstanding server who is always sure to deliver impeccable service every time. "I don't even know where to begin. First off the layout is very confusing, there are four different front doors, and you have to walk through a dark hallway to get to the table area. There was not a server in sight, we had to seat ourselves, and search for the menus. We thought about leaving after 15 minutes of sitting there, but one server appeared and took our order. Once we finally got our food the fries were burnt and soggy. The prices were incredibly high for the poor service and food quality. The other customers were nice and pointed us in the way to go when we first arrived, but the wait was long, and we had to get up from our table to get the server when we wanted to pay and leave. An hour and a half of being there and maybe ten minutes were spent eating. I'll never go there again, it was dingy and extremely awkward."

"Here several times.. Great selection of dishes and original ideas in soups and entrees!! Side salad is so freshly refreshingly different from other dining places. Sunday special menu for 19.95 gives you a wide choice of main food, includes 4 choices: soup or salad; main course; Potato vegetables of the day (served on table with delicious gravy for potatoes) Dessert your choice! The staff is very pleasantly helpful. It will continue to support. View through the window is also great of the Valley!! At any time is a great time to order a great menu! ENJOY A RELAXING TIME!!!"

"Nice atmosphere, very friendly staff. The menu had a lot to choose and the portions were large. I had to start the crab filled mushrooms. Tons filling with a beautiful amount of real crab in it. Great taste, but they were a little dry. I ordered the grilled turkey sandwich for my main course. The turkey was perfectly cooked, moist and tasty with the melted mozzerella. It should come with Russian dressing, but it was missing from the sandwich, but it was still delicious. I'm not a fan of Ciabbata bread, but you were great. I also brought an order of Buffalo fried oysters and hot wings home. The oysters were amazing, even reheated. The wings... they have a good taste and you can say that the cook knows what he/she is doing, but I prefer a bit on the crispy side, so next time I will ask. All in all, a great little place. Definitely a diamond in the rough. For a Friday night, I thought they were more busy than they were, the people definitely disappeared, not being there. I will definitely be back, hopefully next time I get the Russian dressing, haha."
